Coaching contract
Your commitment
You’ll be on time for sessions and be present. This means no Slack, email or phone.
You’ll give at least 48 hours notice if you want to move a session, unless it’s an emergency. Otherwise I’ll charge for the session.
You’ll come to sessions with a question or challenge in mind, or bring something we can start working on. Sessions work better when focusing on a current problem, compared to talking about something theoretical, like strategy.
You’ll prepare for sessions so that you get the most out of them. This usually means carving out time in the week or day beforehand.
You’ll send a pre-read over if you want to focus the session on a document, like a presentation, strategy or vision.
You’ll bring your whole self and share what’s on your mind, being open, vulnerable, and honest. Speaking transparently about where you are today is the first step in making positive change and moving forward.
You’ll approach coaching with curiosity, be willing to think deeply and remain open to change. This is a crucial part of helping you get creative, make better decisions, and feel more confident in your role.
My commitment
I’ll be on time for sessions and be present. This means no Slack, email or phone.
I’ll keep sessions 100% confidential and won’t share anything outside of the coaching space.
I’ll provide space for you to talk honestly about the challenges you’re facing. I’ll help you think clearly, get creative and interrogate problems from multiple angles.
I’ll be a true partner to you and support you to achieve your goals.
I’ll diligently read anything that you send me in advance.
I’ll remind you via email to send over a list of focus areas the day before our session.
I’ll send a short summary with notes and actions after our sessions.
I’ll do my best to send resources if there’s an area that you think you’re missing good baseline theory.
I’ll be generous with my experience and knowledge, but I’ll default to helping you figure things out rather than giving advice or my opinion.
Scheduling
Sessions happen every two weeks. We’ll choose a recurring timeslot in our intro session.
It’s best to stick to the same day and time to help us get into a good rhythm and make progress.
Give at least 48 hours notice if you want to move a session, unless it’s an emergency. Otherwise I’ll charge for the session.
Invoicing
I invoice at the end of each month for the number of sessions we’ve had that month. The onboarding session is free, so your first invoice will be at the end of your first full month of sessions.
Example: If your intro session is on July 22 and your first coaching sessions are August 10 and 21, your first invoice will be at the end of August.
Please let me know if you need a purchase order or any specific details on your invoice.
